A proximity key (also called Keyless Go, Push Button Start.Keyless Access.Keyless Entry, Smart Key or Push-to-Start) is a computerized device that authorizes a keyless entrance and engine igniting in your car.
When driver is within the proper radius, the smart-key transmit RF waves with your immobilization computer to lock and unlock doors and trunk and even to start up the engine with the key in the pocket.
In 1998, Mercedes-Benz was the first auto maker to present this system in the market.
